By HOMELAND MEDIA TEAM,

“Dear Kenyans we wish to concede defeat in the presidential elections in the republic of Kenya of the year 2022 which the verification is ongoing at Bomas. This we are doing after seeing what our performance has been and after deep discussions with our teams in Bomas and consulting widely’ ~ Agano Party presidential candidate David Mwaure.

David Waihiga Mwaure of Agano Party has Sunday conceded defeat in the Presidential race.

The verification of results from Kenya’s 2022 Presidential election entered the fifth day Sunday amid anxiety amongst Kenyans.

A total of 274 of 291 (94.16%) forms 34B have been reported to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as at 2:00 PM Sunday.

The 2022 Presidential election pitting Azimio la Umoja One Kenya candidate Raila Odinga and Kenya Kwanza’s William Ruto was held on August 9th in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

IEBC is expected to verify all the Form 34Bs announced at the constituency level before declaring the winner of the Presidential election.

IEBC has until August 16 to declare the winner of the 2022 Presidential election.
