The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), Kampala Water regrets to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in the water supply tomorrow Thursday 3rd August 2023 from 6 am to Friday 4th August, 7 am.
This is to allow a team of specialist engineers to undertake emergency works at Ggaba 1 water treatment plant.
The management announced the affected areas which include Lweza, Katale, Seguku, Busabala Road, Nyanama, Nalumunye, Bunamwaya, Ngobe, Kisugula, Bukwenda, Serengeti, Bandwe, Mugongo, Kazinga, Kinaawa, Kasenge, Nakirama, Magwa, Kikajjo, Budo hill, Nakasozi, Nagalabi, Kimbejja, Nabbingo, Ttega, Kakungube, Kisozi, Namagoma, Nakitokolo, Kitemu, Kivu, Nsangi, Kateleke, Buwali, Kigwanywa, and the surrounding areas.
The works are estimated to last 24hrs.
Customers are therefore advised to store enough water and use it sparingly as we work.
