NWSC announce Water supply Interruption in Kampala East supply zone areas!

We regret to inform our valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply today Wednesday, 7th January 2026, from 7am to 7pm.

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation-NWSC regret to inform its customers and the general public that there will be Water Supply Interruptions in Kampala East Water Supply Zone on Wednesday, 7th January 2026, from 7am to 7pm.

According to NWSC the interuption is due to UETCL planned emergency works along the Mukono-Namanve power line. Subsequently, water production and supply schedules to the following areas will be affected during this downtime; Katosi, Kisoga, Mukono, Seeta,Mbalala, Namugongo, Namanve, Sonde, parts of Kireka,Kamuli, Kyaliwajala, Bulindo, Nsasa, Mulawa, Nabusugwe, Kitukutwe, Mbalala, Naalya, Ntinda, Kisaasi, Najeera, Luteete, Gayaza, parts of Kamwokya, parts of Kireka, Mbuya, Mutungo, Kitintale Matugga, and the surrounding areas.

Subsquently NWSC Customers are therefore advised to store enough water, and use it sparingly during this downtime.
