Uganda’s celebrated stand-up comedian Patrick Salvador is set to return to the grand stage with what promises to be one of the country’s biggest comedy events of 2026.
Dubbed “I Think I’m Wiser,” the one-man comedy special will take place on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Uganda National Theatre, marking another major milestone in Salvador’s illustrious comedy career. According to the event details, the show will also be streamed live on Play It Loud, allowing fans from across Uganda and beyond to be part of the experience.
The promotional artwork presents Salvador seated confidently on a royal throne dressed in traditional attire, a powerful visual symbolising his status as one of Uganda’s most influential comedians. The bold slogan, “I Think I’m Wiser,” hints at a performance built around life experiences, maturity, relationships, culture and the humorous lessons that come with growing older.
Organisers describe the show as an evening of fresh material, sharp observations and Patrick Salvador’s trademark storytelling, elements that have earned him a loyal following across East Africa over the years.
Tickets for the physical show are priced at UGX 100,000, while comedy lovers who cannot attend physically can purchase a UGX 15,000 livestream ticket through Play It Loud, making the event accessible to audiences everywhere.
