KCCA pays tribute to Ssebagala renames duster street after him

Kampala City Council Authority has on October 2nd 2020 paid tribute to acknowledge and remember the services and contributions of the late mayor Al-Hajj Nasser Ntege Ssebagala in making Kampala a city for every one.

Ntege Ssebagala served Kampala City as Mayor for two terms from 1996 to 1998 bounced back 2006-2011.

During his reign, Ssebagala established strong ties between the central government and KCC which later became KCCA where he believed t have achieved greatly including hosting of Chogum in 2007 and the Queen.

Ntege Ssebagala is also remembered for having sold the road near KCC land to government whwere there is national land information systems the road links Ministry of Health Road to Kitante.

This afternoon, KCCA received the body of the former Kampala Mayor Al Hajj Nasser Ntege Ssebagala at City Hall for a Special Council session to celebrate his life and honour his contribution to the City and the Country.

Kampala Capital Executive has renamed Duster street off Kampala road after Al Hajji Nasser Ssebagala to remember his tremendous contribution towards Kampala city.

Al Hajji Nasser Ssebagala died on Saturday 26th September from complications he suffered after sliding and falling in his bathroom three weeks prior.

He is set to be laid to rest this Sunday 4th October in Kisaasi.
