Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] President Patrick Amuriat Oboi has been declared the party Presidential flag bearer for the 2021 general election after his colleague PARTY Chairman Wasswa Birigwa chickens out of the race.

Patrick Amuriat was endorsed Thursday by the FDC National Council at Najjanankumbi head offices.

FDC Party Chairman Wasswa Birigwa, with a few hours to polls, pulled out of the FDC Presidential Flag Bearer race.

Party President Patrick Amuriat will now become the party’s Presidential flag bearer.

“I at first did not trust Biriggwa when he joined FDC because I thought he would hand the party over to
Kaguta Museveni,” Amuriat said.
