Self-driving High Court judge Okwanga injured in an accident

Justice Vincent Okwanga, a judge of the High Court, has been involved in a road accident after the car he was driving veered off the road.

The accident reportedly happened Sunday afternoon near City High School, Corner Mowlem village in Ogwangacuma Parish, Aboke Sub County, Kole district.

The Judge, who was with his bodyguard, was driving from Kampala to his country home in Otwal, Oyam district.  

He was in his official vehicle, a Toyota Prado, registration number UG 0542J.

A rescue team rushed the judge from the accident scene to the Lira University teaching hospital.  He was reported to be bleeding profusely.

Justice Vincent Okwanga is was a presiding judge in acase that overthrew former Nasana municipality MP Musoke wakaima out of parliament by NRM Kasule Ssebunya’s direct entry to parliament in 2017.
