Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) has scored a 100% pass rate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma exams for the 2021 class.

37.5% of the students scored 35 points or more with the best scoring 40. The average point score was 32. The score means all their students are eligible to further their studies in top universities across the world.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two-year educational programme primarily aimed at 16-to-19-year-olds in 140 countries around the world. The programme provides an internationally accepted qualification for entry into higher education and is recognized by many universities worldwide. It was developed in the early-to-mid-1960s in Geneva, Switzerland, by a group of international educators.

Part of the Ruparelia Group’s education arm, KISU was established in 1993. It currently boasts of enrollment of over 400 students from over 60 nationalities. However, the school can comfortably accommodate 1,000 students.

It has state of the art facilities for all-round education including four science labs, three computer labs, three music rooms,  three performance areas, an indoor sports hall, outdoor basketball court, 25-meter eight-lane competition swimming pool, two libraries, smart boards in most classrooms and a five-acre playing field.

Admissions are currently ongoing for international students. It is the perfect school for experts who are currently working in Uganda and want their children to continue an uninterrupted globally recognized education system or Ugandans hoping to pursue their university education abroad.
