It was Joy and glamour over the weekend when Dr. Angela Kakishozi, daughter of President Yoweri Museveni introduced her fiancée Amanya Tumukunde during a function held at their home in Lyantonde district.

Amanya is the son of former Security Minister Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde and Kakishozi’s mother is Enid Kukunda of Rukungiri, President Museveni’s other Wife.

The Introduction was graced by President Museveni’s brothers, led by Gen.Caleb Akandwanaho [ Salim Saleh], Shedrick Nzeire and Michael Nuwagira also Known as Toyota and so close family members.

Gen.Henry Tumukunde, a former presidential candidate was also present at the joyous event.

The couple who hails from Rukungiri district is set to wed soon, according to sources, Amanya and Angella got close while pursuing their studies in Malaysia.
