The Minister of State for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs, Kabuye Kyofatogabye has announced that effective Jnauary 1st 2022 unvaccinated people working in Kampala city will not be allowed to access the places of work uncles vaccinated fully.

Minister, Kabuye Kyofatogabye said that since the government recognizes the people’s right not to be vaccinated, it will let those who will not have taken the job by January work in other places where there is enough space and they cannot endanger others.

He clarified interpreted for those who had not understood what President Yoweri Museveni meant when he said that he will open up the economy whether people are vaccinated or not come January. 

Kabuye further said that the President meant that those who are vaccinated will be allowed to work in the city while those who wont will not be allowed in the city. That it is that simple.

He however said that, traders that they should not fear to take the jab as it takes only three seconds, but it makes the difference between being able to work in Kampala or not, come January 2022.
