Uganda’s renown news anchor and story teller Frank Walusimbi is set to join Buganda Broadcasting Services – BBS Terefayina hours after leaving NTV, if all goes well.

The flamboyant news anchor according to sources at both BBS and Walusimbi has been in talks with the Mengo based TV Station.

He announced, he resigned from NTV on Thursday night just after the 7 O’clock Akawungeezi bulletin, marking an end to the 15 year old journey.

He is one of Uganda’s Award winning telecasters with vast experience in narration and story telling.

Sources say, once he joins BBS, a major boost to Ssabasajja Kabaka’s news team and for the current affairs of the station.

Several of the Mengo officials are anxious waiting for his debut at the Buganda based Terefayina.
