Iran Cultural Consulate in Uganda partner with Homeland Media Group to drive effective community development projects through communication

 The Homeland Media Group (HMG) the publishers of the Homeland Newspaper has partnered with the Cultural Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran with an aim of fostering community and media development through effective communication.

While visiting the Consulate recently, Kasozi Nasser the CEO of Homeland Media Group said that the partnership will lead to effective development of Uganda dissemination of accurate demand driven information which shall offer a solution to a multiple of problems,

“The partnership comes in a period when the country is being affected with coronavirus, where the media which is supposed to offer accurate information to the public is threatened with fake news,” Kasozi said

Kasozi said that accurate communication is key to effective development, an agenda which is driven by the Homeland media.

The Homeland Newspaper and Website  [www.homelandmedia.co.ug] both products of HMG were established and launched in November 29, 2019 under the theme, “Media for national development, a responsibility for every citizen.”

In the closed door meeting that took place at the Consulate in Kampala last week, the consulate the cultural counselor, Hajji Muhamad Rezor Ghezhelsofla promised to render support to the publication,

Sources that attended the meeting said that the consulate will offer cameras, computers, influencing partnership between homeland media and Iran Times.

“There is also an opportunity of the Homeland team visiting Iran and get a clear picture of the country other than what is painted by the western media including BBC CNN and others,”   

Sources said that in the partnership, HMG shall cover and write, broadcast and stream live all events at the cultural counsel with an aim of fostering development.

The Homeland Newspaper has developed various sections which  make up the whole publication, with a strong emphasis on enhanced reader value, the added value features include: –
