The outgoing Buliisa Constituency Member of Parliament Steven Birahwa Mukitale has challenged the newly elected leaders in the district to face the truth and take the realistic detailed professional way of starting a technical school.

Buliisa district has only one government vocational institute (Kirama Vocational Project in Kigwera Sub County) which has only two class room blocks.

The institute which was born of Uganda Wildlife Authority Revenue sharing scheme twelve years ago has never got district or Ministry of education funding or not even wage bill, equipment workshops, staff quarters, classrooms, or furniture.

The area member of parliament has also challenged the newly elected leaders to stand up to the task but with facts & figures.

“Let us outgrow the Bagungu Community Association BACA) fundraising fatigue from members which was not sustainable later alone suspect funding,” Mukitale adds.
