The Minister of State for Works and Transport (Works) who also doubles as the MP Amuria County Musa Ecweru has vowed to manhandle anyone who preaches same sex (Homosexuality and Lesbianism) in Teso.
“The boys are wearing pampers to control shit from flowing, some of them have their intestines out, I asked the doctors what happened to these children, and the doctors told me these children were sodomised, they are victims of homosexuality,” said Ecweru.
Homosexuality remains illegal in Uganda, despite a 2016 court ruling that found the 2014 Uganda Anti-Homosexuality Act invalid on procedural grounds.
The Penal Code Act still categorizes homosexuality as a crime against morality.
According to Section 145 of the Penal Code Act cap 120, which was introduced by the British colonialists in June 1950. The code outlawed any unnatural sexual acts and prescribes life imprisonment on conviction.
There are people who have defied the order of God, the Bible, the Quran and the basic biology which teaches about what sex organs are.
“The Anus is not one of the sexual organs, the bible tells us that god created man, he further moulded a woman from his rib to make a man happy and vice versa and in doing that they will produce and fill the world,” said Ecweru.
Minister Ecweru added that It is only man and woman who can produce, God did his work very well, and the Anus is for passing faeces after eating, and all of us do that for children, adults, and ministers.
“This new idea of turning the anus into a sex organ belongs to idiots, belongs to mad people they are satanic, they will go to hell, as they wait for hell, they should be punished and jailed here on earth”, Ecweru exclaimed.
Homosexuality is romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behaviour between members of the same sex or gender. As a sexual orientation, homosexuality is “an enduring pattern of emotional, romantic, and/or sexual attractions” to people of the same sex.
It “also refers to a person’s sense of identity based on those attractions, related behaviours, and membership in a community of others who share those attractions.”
Hon Ecweru who is part of the law-making body in Uganda has vowed to make his contribution and presentation when the time to pass the bill comes as a parent, as a believer and as a human being who understands basic biology.
He also cautioned whoever is involved in this satanic practice not to step foot in his district of Amuria lest they face it rough.
“Now while I wait to pass the bill if I get anybody crossing to Amuria where I represent to preach homosexuality there is a way I process people, those who know know”, Ecweru warned.
Teachers and students have been cited as superspreaders of what some Ugandan lawmakers have called character-killing morals.
Debates have already taken place on the floor of Uganda’s parliament amid reports about sexual minorities gaining ground in schools.
Anita Among, the speaker of parliament, recently directed the Education Committee to investigate schools suspected of encouraging LGBTQ rights.
The Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa also in January raised alarm over ‘increasing’ cases of homosexual sodomy in schools.
While chairing the Tuesday plenary sitting, Tayebwa said he had been receiving ‘painful’ stories about how students are getting forced into homosexuality and lesbianism.
Tayebwa said the matter needs to be tackled head-on without fear, to protect the children from the vice.
On Christmas day 2022, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu warned parents, of individuals he said were recruiting students into homosexuality by luring them with money and sponsorship promises.
The Archbishop said there was a need for parents to start monitoring their children and discipline them, especially during holidays.
