Uganda’s best media training school Homeland Media Institute [HMI], announces study and training opportunities for the academic year 2023/2024 with bursaries and scholarships to only students interested to pursue further education and training in Journalism, Mass Communication, and Radio, Television, Photography, and entrepreneurship.

She further revealed that Homeland Media Institute [HMI] has invested in technology to enable students this academic year to learn from wherever they are under distance learning and online arrangement without coming directly to school premises and as a technical training school of media excellence we are committed to playing a leading role in bringing and developing high-quality practical skills technical education, community, and student-centered learning, mentoring and opportunities based on standards of excellence that are unique, innovative and difficult to match.

Lukayya said the school has since invested in retooling and employing professional tutors who will in train and teach students the required skills for the job market. ..”The youth will receive capacity building and training at Level I certificates from the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT), were admitted in July 2022 for a six months skills development training on tailoring, carpentry, bakery, knitting, shoe making, hairdressing, welding, coffee processing, stone cutting, and maize processing” She said

Homeland Media Institute [HMI] is located in the heart of Kampala City and on the main public transportation routes favorable at Greenland Towers Fifth floor Room F09 with plans to open up more satellite study centers around Kampala City and Uganda.
