The Speaker of Parliament, Ms Anita Among, and the President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Mr. Moses Magogo have welcomed twins, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa announced on Monday on his official Twitter handle.
The Deputy Speaker congratulated the couple, “With great Joy, I congratulate my brother Moses Magogo and my sister the Rt. Hon Speaker Anita Among upon the double bundle of joy. You are now Ssalongo and Nnalongo. Congratulations once again.”
Magogo and Among tied the knot in August last year in a private ceremony held in Uganda’s capital, Kampala a closed-door introduction ceremony in Bukedea District, months before the Kampala event.
According to sources, the speaker among gave birth yesterday 22nd October 2023 from South Africa.
Details regarding the twins’ genders remain scanty, The Homeland Newspaper has learned that the babies and mother are in perfect health.
On Friday 12, August 2022 in a private ceremony, Hon Among was hitched to her fiancé Eng, Hon. Moses Magogo.
