Former Second Deputy Prime Minister and Adjumani West MP, Gen Moses Ali, is receiving medical care at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala after falling ill.
As of Friday afternoon, neither his family nor government had released an official update on his condition, and details regarding the illness remain unknown.
However, veteran politician and businessman Capt. Mike Mukula confirmed that Gen Ali is currently admitted to the hospital. Mukula said he has been in contact with the family and is closely following developments regarding the veteran leader’s health.
Mukula had earlier disclosed that Gen Ali had not been feeling well for some time. In a message shared on X, he extended his best wishes, praying for the former deputy prime minister’s speedy recovery.
Gen Ali is one of Uganda’s longest-serving politicians, having held several senior government positions over the years, including serving as Second Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Adjumani West Constituency.
