Don Innocent Wanyama, presidential Press Secretary has been appointed the Chief Executive officer of the New Vision Printing and Publishing Company also trading as Vision Group.

According to the the Chairman of Vision Group, Mr. Patrick Ayota, who on Tuesday morning announced the decision of the Board to appoint Mr. Don Wanyama as Managing Director/CEO of the Company.

Wanyama has previously worked as the Managing Editor of the Daily Monitor, Uganda’s daily publication privately owned by Nation media Group.

Don Wanayama later worked as a communication officer in the office of the National Chairperson of NRM before being appointed the Presidential Press Secretary.

The decision to appoint Wanyama was reached by board after the consulting with president of Uganda and upon retirement of Mr. Robert Kabushenga who held the position for more than 14 years of service.
