MBARARA: Court Remands 7 for Flouting Covid-19 SoPs

MBARARA: Court in Rubindi Kashari North Constituency Mbarara district yesterday remanded 7 people for flouting COVID 19 and violating lockdown and curfew guidelines.

The 7 who included three women and four men were sent Nyabuhikye government prison in Ibanda District until 15th.July 2021.

Grade I magistrate his worship Kopani Muhanguzi had handed them community service punishment but due to the current COVID 19 situation, no officers were on duty to supervise them.

The 7 who pleaded guilty to the charges were arrested from Rubindi Town council on Thursday night.
