The Ugandan Ambassador to the Republic of Sudan, sitting in Khartoum, H.E. Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu has hailed the  Uganda National Team [U-20 HIPPOS] for playing as Champions of the Central of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) and accordingly condoning for the Under 20 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) – Egypt 2023.

In the U-20 AFCON qualifiers for the CECAFA finals which took abode on Friday, November 11th, 2022 at Al-Hilal Stadium, Omdurman – Khartoum, Sudan, Uganda beat South Sudan 2:1 to authorize for AFCON 2023 and retained the local crown.

Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to Khartoum, Sudan, H.E. Dr. Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu has congratulated the HIPPOS, U-20 Uganda National Team.

Other countries whose aggregation have able which Uganda will have to face for the U20 Continental Cup include Libya from North Zone (UNAF), Zambia from South Zone (COSAFA), Senegal from West B Zone (WAFU-UFOA B), and winners from the finals of West Zone A (WAFU-UFOA A) and finalist from Central Zone (UNIFFAC).

Ambassador Ssemuddu hailed the adolescent players for their alacrity and commitment which has enabled them accession the banderole of Uganda college acquainted which as players they are the best Ambassadors for Uganda who are announcing and popularizing the Pearl of Africa for conclusive reasons.

Dr.Ssemuddu encouraged them to advance a high degree of conduct both at acreage and in communities wherever they live, biking and comedy as celebrities who backpack the banderole of our country at all times.

The Ambassador emphasized the accent of sports as an acceptable profession that should be taken actively alone like any added profession which enables actors to acquire lots of cash to accomplish a living, advance, and development while holding themselves physically fit, about cocked, and medically healthy.

Dr. Ssemuddu thanked the Government of Uganda for advancing in Sports by cardinal planning at the highest degree of action conception and implementation, account prioritization with the able administration of the NRM Administration beneath a President who cares abundantly about the Bazukulus, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Ministry of Education and Sports managed by the First Lady the Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni with Sports calendar placed beneath younger State Minister, the Hon. Peter Ogwang is a breath soccer amateur and the best in inter-parliamentary sports.

With acknowledgment to the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA), Ambassador Ssemuddu conveyed his acknowledgment and adulatory bulletin to FUFA President the Hon. Eng. Moses Hassim Magogo by the aggregation baton Hajji Juma Abdullahamid MARIJAN. His bidding account for the U20 Manager, Coach, and the absolute FUFA Team for their adamantine work, charge, and adherence in architecture and able aggregation of players.

The Ambassador, calm with the Head of Chancery: Mr. Dickson Ogwang, and the Accounting Officer Mr. David Wamono officially accustomed the players on arrival to Sudan on 26th October. He was once physically present at the Stadium for all Uganda Matches and Joined the CECAFA arresting Champions Flanked by Uganda Embassy Officials including the Defense Attaché, Brig. Gen. Fred Karara in adulatory Uganda achievement at Al-Hilal Stadium, Sudan.

Ambassador Dr. Ssemuddu admired the aggregation success in their AFCON bid appearance 2023 and bed them adieu for their adventure out of Khartoum aboard Ethiopian Airlines for Entebbe while they traveled in a canonizing affection abandonment at dawn, Saturday, November 12th, 2022.
