The security Minister has said that they are aware of all the intentions of Hon Kyagulanyi who is aiming at taking the country back to the bad days of the 80s.

Gen Tumwine says that the call for peaceful demonstrations is just sugar coating the real bad intentions of destroying the peace of Uganda that the NRA fought for.

Gen Tumwine adds that it is good Ugandans have decided to go back to their work and have ignored the call by Kyagulanyi to go to the streets and riot.

He also thanked the Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) for coming out to desist from demonstrations in a letter they wrote informing their members not to join such activities especially when their businesses are just recovering from the Covid 19 pandemic which had left most of them staggering.

Gen.Tumwine has also assured Ugandans that no one is going to distabilize the peace of Uganda because the NRM Government guaranteed the people peace the day they came in to power on january 26th 1986.

” Some of us went to the bush to fight for the peace of Uganda. We are ready to destroy all those who think they can disturb the peace of Uganda. No one can ever overwhelm us because we are actually stronger than what they think. We are already. Sisi tuko tayari” Tumwine adds
