NRM Retreat Deepens Ideological Grounding of Newly Elected MPs, Says Party Finance Director

Do you remember when the Democratic Party (DP) President General, Norbert Mao said that Hon Betty Namboze, the MP Mukono municipality is like a water melon, green outside but red inside? And she (Namboze) also replied him calling him a pumpkin, green on to but yellow inside, the president general looks to be a trouble seeker not solver.

On Tuesday this week, during the party’s weekly press conference, Mao made another statement but this time round allegedly targeting people power pressure group led by the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi known for stage name Bobiwine and the DP members who ran away from the party to join it.

“Pressure group is like a school a school without a UNEB center number, when it’s time for national examinations they will look for a school with a center number,” Mao said adding:

“You may have the best headmaster, library but without a center number. When UNEB calls for exams, you will have to look for a school with a center number,”

As usual, before even People Power responded, Namboze attacked his former boss, calling terming him as being incompetent.

“Imagine how a Chief Executive to take such talk a Press Conference. Imagine Uganda is bleeding and an opportunity of standing on a platform of the oldest political party,” she said adding:

“You start giving people suffering administrative pronouncements spiced with insults and impunity instead of using it to contribute t the liberation struggle,”

The New Generation International (NGI) youth group posted this video on their on their official Facebook page with a Caption that, Mafia Project: “Katonda bwatakuwa mutwe, akuwa engalabi” meaning ‘If God does not give you the head, he gives you a drum,’

it should be remembered that Mao and Bobi were close friends last year, however the friendship deteriorated when the later announced his presidential bid.

Mao also announced that he will contest in the forth coming polls.
