Some people on social media began to suspect this after she received two expensive cars from a mysterious man. They believed that she was being supported by several rich men who fund her luxurious lifestyle.

But in a recent interview, Shakira cleared the air. She said she has only been dating one man for the last five years, ever since she returned to Uganda to focus on her music career.

She said she is not the kind of woman who plays with men’s hearts. She does not date many people at once. According to her, she is very loyal in a relationship and gives her full attention to the man she is with.

Shakira said that when she’s in love, she can be called “clingy” because she gives all her love and time to that one man. She explained that he is the only one who truly knows her and that, even though she gets tempted, she never cheats because she is fully committed to him.

The singer also shared that she avoids drama with men. She has a brand to protect as a public figure and, more importantly, because she is a mother. Shakira has a seven-year-old daughter who lives in the United States.

Even though she is in a serious relationship now, she said she still talks to her baby daddy. They are not together romantically, but they co-parent their child peacefully.

She explained that her daughter’s father sends money and takes care of their child, and that her current boyfriend also supports both her and her daughter. She said that a real man should love both the woman and her child equally.

Shakira added that her daughter knows who her boyfriend is and that she even calls him and other men around her “uncles.”

In short, Shakira made it clear: she is not dating multiple men. She is focused on one relationship, raising her daughter, and growing her career.
