The administrators and parents of Kampala Parents School have jubilated for their excellent performance in the just concluded 2019 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) examinations.

According to results released by the Uganda National Examination Board, indicate a total of 172 candidates excelled in first grades, 54candidates secured second grades only.

 The head teacher Kampala Parents School Nagulu campus Daphine Kato said total of 15 candidates passed with 4 aggregates, 16 passed with five aggregates while 22 passed with six aggregates.

Ms. Daphine Kato and the teachers closed the event asking the 2019 P.7 class to keep the Kampala Parents School mentality of being the best in whatever they do on their next journey.

Amidst ululations students, parents, school management converged tocommemorate the performance of the school in the 2019 (PLE) examinations..

Kampala Parents School which is ranked among the top five schools countrywide has consistently proved itself an academic power-house despite the fact that it admits all types of students, some of whom have had weak foundations.

Rev Canon Michael Mukhwana, the Vicar at St. Andrews Church, Bukoto the main celebrant at the thanksgiving function that held at Kampala Parents School.

It important to celebrate the victory and any milestone we achieve in life but not forgetting that all success come the Lord.

Muhwana attributed the school’s performance to whom the St. Andrews Church has a partnership with to God’s hand.

“I am so glad that the school could organize this thanksgiving for the children and parents to able to celebrate the victory that God gave them. It is very important that we celebrate our victory,” Rev. Mukhwana.

In his homily message, he also called up on other school directors to recognize students who excel well as a way of motivating others.

“They balance both the academics and the social life of the child which is a beautiful thing. We also have an opportunity to do ministry here and I count that very special.”

He urged other schools to also give back like KPS did by inviting children and parents to a sumptuous meal and entertainment.

School director, Rajiv Ruparelia, attributed the good academic performance to God’s great mercy, dedicated teachers, highly disciplined and God-fearing students and an enabling academic environment.

 “You have embarked on a new journey. Keep yourselves positive. Keep the great KPS spirit and when you join your new secondary schools, keep all the positive things Kampala Parents’ School taught you.Go become a Kampala Parents’ School ambassador,” Rajiv said.

He also revealed that the school will introduce more co-curricular activities this year.

Rajiv Ruparelia also lauded Kampala Parents School Principal, Daphine Kato, teachers and parents for maintaining KPS a top school in the country.

Uganda rising star Patrick Ssenyonjo known by his stage name Fresh Kid also a pupil at the same school thrilled the guests with his songs that turned up the guests, teachers and Parents who turned in big numbers to celebrate the school excellence with pupils.
