The councilor who has been an NRM member representing the People in Kampala Central Division.

He was elected LCIII councillor with 1,503 votes defeating NUP’s Francisco Bwambale who garnered 493 votes.

He is said to have left his home at about 5.30 am in the morning, heading to work.

Chairman Kakooza became a house hold name in the area when he took upon himself to fight criminal gangs that had started killing residents of the nearby area.

He at one point knew all spoilt boys in kamwokya and would speak to their parents or warn them to leave kamwokya for their own good.
