Residents in Kisoro district yesterday woke up to shock after they were informed that one of their own succumbed to hunger and alcohol.
The deceased Ronald Ndagijimana 22 year old a resident of Kabira Village Cyanika Town council in Kisoro district was confirmed dead on arrival at a hospital.
According to sources, the deceased was seen last night drinking waragi mixed with local brew and spent long time drinking alcohol without eating.
Sources say that after eating food at Chanika trading center, Ronald started vomiting and became unconscious so he was rushed to Clarensenga hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was taken to Kisoro hospital for postmortem as police investigate the cause of the death.
