President Yoweri Museveni orders Security to Arrest Social Media User Who Broke Fake News on His Death

For a week social media was awash with fake news concerning death of Uganda’s beloved president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

It had been sensationally reported that the son of Kaguta was fighting for his dear life after being attacked by the deadly corona virus.

After fact checking with the relevant authorities it was later discovered that it was some malicious people on social media that had begun spreading the baseless rumors.

And now after seeing how serious the rumor could have turned out to be Sevo has ordered the security apparatus to dig in and zero down on the people who began spreading the fake news.

”Another problem we need to solve is fake news, especially on social media. Social media has apparently been saying Museveni is dead. The Security service needs to apprehend the perpetrators who told such a story” Museveni said while swearing in another set of Ministers in Kololo recently.
