The managing director of National Water and Sewerage Corporation Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha has called upon Ugandans to be conscious of next year’s elections such that they are not divided alongside religions, clans among others.

Mugisha noted that they should remain united, work hard and do not ask for handouts from leaders adding that handouts end that day while ideas stay longer and bring development.

Speaking to The Homeland Newspaper after a church service at Kantunda Kiyaga Bumbaire Bushenyi district Eng. Silver Mugisha said Ugandan need to live harmoniously and promote peaceful coexistence in our communities.

Mugisha said, simple activities that are timely like politics should not divide people but rather promote peace and brotherhood as we build our homeland Uganda.

Eng. Mugisha noted that through Bamugisha, they have started village saving banks (Obubokisi) and Bushenyi Bamugisha Community Welfare Beneficiaries SACCO to fight poverty and unity all saving banks respectively.

However, Ms. Annet Katusiime Mugisha the aspirant Bushenyi district woman MP called upon women to protect their children during this long holiday.
She added that parents should bring up their children with discipline so that they become responsible citizens.
