VP Ssekandi,Public pay last respects to Mukwano, be buried in Kololo

Vice president Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi represented president Museveni to mourn and pay tribute to the deceased business mogul Amirali Karmali commonly known as Mukwano who will be laid to rest at a cemetery in Kololo today.

Ssekandi told mourners that Late Mukwano has been an engine to Ugandan’s economy and his empire has employed millions of Ugandans in various capacities.

The Mukwano Group of Companies proprietor Amirali Karmali passed away on Thursday.

Braving the Saturday morning downpour, hundreds gathered at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds to pay their last respects to Amirali Karmali the proprietor of Mukwano Group of Companies who passed away on Thursday.

Mourners were able to view Karmali’s body before he is laid to rest on Saturday afternoon at the Ismaili Cemetery on Archer Road in Kololo.
