Kampala will mark the final stop in the nationwide campaign where Museveni has been championing and rallying the masses to embrace wealth creation and boost household incomes under the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga.

Kampala has been given special consideration with five full days allocated for the tour, demonstrating its strategic importance.

The tour will run on Monday, Tuesday, take a break on Wednesday and Thursday to allow the NRM party to conduct Member of Parliament primaries, and resume on Friday and Saturday, culminating in a grand rally at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

A planning meeting was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the KCCA offices, where the Government Chief Whip, Hon. Denis Hamson Obua, alongside the State House Comptroller, Ms. Jane Barekye, and the KCCA Executive Director, Hajjat Buzeki Sharifah, met with Kampala leaders.

Obua emphasized the significance of Kampala in this final leg and rallied leaders to mobilize residents to participate actively in the tour.

“We want to speak and mobilize the people of Kampala to turn up in big numbers in different activities that require them to come, so that they can listen to the message of wealth creation the President has been preaching across the country,” he stated.
