Rajiv Ruparelia, a prominent young Ugandan business leader, has been named among the top 100 young African leaders in the Choiseul 100 Africa 2024 list.

The prestigious recognition honors individuals under 40 who are shaping the continent’s future through innovative leadership and vision.

Son to tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia, Rajiv, Managing Director of the Ruparelia Group, has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth and expansion within Uganda and beyond, and directly oversees several of the Group businesses in real estate, tourism and hotel services, construction and education, including Victoria University, Kampala.


He is credited for innovative ideas and strategic thinking, attributes that have propelled the group to new heights.

As the only Ugandan recipient of this award, Rajiv’s achievement underscores his dedication and commitment to excellence.
Rajip’s father, Mr. Ruparelia praised:
“I couldn’t be prouder to congratulate Rajiv on being recognized in the #Choiseul100Africa 2024,” he said in a post. “Rajiv’s hard work, vision, and dedication to excellence have truly set him apart.His contributions to Ruparelia Group have been remarkable,”.

Mr. Sudhir says Rajiv’s leadership has played a vital role in shaping the Ruparelia Group companies’ success and expanding its influence within Uganda and beyond.
“His achievements inspire those around us, and I am excited to see how he will continue to influence the future,” Sudhir added.

The Choiseul 100 Africa list highlights the continent’s most promising young leaders, recognizing their contributions to Africa’s economic development and growth.
