A veterinary doctor attached to the Kampala Capital City Authority – KCCA identified as Godfrey Kamugisha has died on his steering wheel while driving past Akamwesi shopping mall, along Gayaza road in Kawempe Division, Kampala.
He has been found dead in his Motor vehicle – Benz, registration number UBJ 241Y.
“A vet Doctor attached to @KCCAUG identified as Dr.Kamugisha Godfrey Mwesigwa has died on his steering wheel opposite Akamwesi Shopping Mall gate in Kyebando,@PoliceUg says cause of death unknown.”
Police deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Area Luke Oyowesigire says investigations into cause of death are on going.
The body of the deceased has been taken to the City mortuary at Mulago Hospital. Officials at KCCA including the Deputy Spokesperson Robert Kalumba have not been available to comment on the incident.
