Speaker Kadaga nominated for Kamuli district Woman MP Race

Rebecca Kadaga said she has other programs to transform the people of the Kamuli and Busoga region in the areas of education, healthcare, improving the economic livelihoods of women, the youth and ensuring that every homestead gets an income-generating project and access to safe and clean water.

The Speaker of parliament Rt.Hon. Rebecca Kadaga has been dully nominated as a candidate for the Kamuli Woman MP seat for 2021 and 2026 term of office.

After her being nominated Speaker Kadaga revealed to her supporters that her focus in the next term as MP will be to tarmac three main roads in Kamuli that connects to three other districts of Iganga, Jinja and Palisa.

“My priority, as MP, will be the struggle for tarmacking of three roads that link Kamuli to three districts. These are: Bukungu to Kimaka in Jinja; Budhumbula to Kasolo in Iganga and the road that leads to Pallisa district,” Kadaga Promised.

Rebecca Kadaga said she has other programs to transform the people of the Kamuli and Busoga region in the areas of education, healthcare, improving the economic livelihoods of women, the youth, and ensuring that every homestead gets an income-generating project and access to safe and clean water.

Speaker Kadaga also pledged to enhance the struggle for sugarcane markets and modes of value addition.

Kadaga is set to lock horns with Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) strong lady Salaamu Musumba and National Unity Platform (NUP)’s Bridget Babirye.
