UNEB to Release 2025 UACE Results on Friday 13

UACE 2025: Examiners flag application gap as performance dips in several subjects

Despite these pedagogical challenges, the 2025 cohort saw a 17.2 percent increase in total candidates, with 113,291 students ultimately qualifying for university degree programs. The board is now calling for a shift in instructional focus to ensure learners can utilize their education in a dynamic environment.

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has announced that the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results will be released on Friday, March 13, 2026.

According to UNEB, the official release will take place at 11:00am at State House Nakasero and will be presided over by the Minister of Ministry of Education and Sports Uganda.

A total of 166,402 candidates registered for the 2025 UACE examinations, which were conducted at 2,844 examination centres across the country.

UNEB noted that the examinations were successfully administered nationwide as part of the national assessment for students completing the advanced level of secondary education.
