BUNAMWAYA: Jamada Ssekikubo the local council one (LC1) chairperson Wabiyinja cell in Mutundwe parish of Bunamwaya division has disclosed his capacity when he closed Sam Mulyanti’s houses on grounds that he polluted the area with dirt from his toilets that spread across the neighboring buildings and plantations.

Sam Mulyanti a resident in Bunamwaya division of Makindye Sabagabo fall a victim when he shamelessly opened his toilets to his neighbors and polluted the all area including a surrounding secondary school (Africa senior secondary school) which caused an alarm to residents who were affected by the action.

The chairman of the area, Sekikubo who came to the ground at around 10:00 am closed the toilets and the houses of Mulyanti after clear confirmation and evidence of the action.

Ssekikubo condemned the action of the citizen whom he referred to as a senior citizen. “Am so amazed when I got news that a senior citizen has done such an awkward act, he whom I presume should inspire others, is doing to the contrary, we are in danger.”

The chairperson further thanked the residents for being so vigilant and law binding and he encouraged them to improve the sanitation and hygiene of their places.

 “You should be a good example to the rest of your neighbors” He further asserted.

“I have closed these houses for a period of two days and Mulyanti should report to the office immediately and rectify the issue, otherwise all tenants should vacate the houses.” Sekikubo clarified more.

Yowana Nsubuga Tuddeka, a priest at St. Gonzaga Gonza a nearby catholic church said that he was so amazed when he found a senior citizen doing such an action and not minding about the lives of others.

 Mulyanti who fallen a victim of the action immediately disappeared when he had that the chairperson is coming for him and he switched off his phone.

Christine Nassiwa one of the neighbor near the place confessed that the action was made at around 1:00 am and they could not imagine what exactly was taking place but were disappointed when they saw dirt passing around their courtyards and through their gardens and they immediately rushed to the LC1 to report the matter.
