Kirabo Michelle, the newly elected Guild President For Victoria University has called for support from all students and her opponents to ensure she fully effects much of her manifesto in just one year.
Kirabo, a student of Bachelor of arts in journalism and media studies made the remarks after the university electoral commission declared her winner and pledged to streamline university administration with student leadership.
In this she looks at preventing all academic challenges that learners could face as well as establishing a harmonious relationship between her leadership and the university council.
Students managed to elect their Leaders electronically using Learning Management portal. the process is affordable, allows candidates and their voters to monitor their results in real time.
The University Electoral Commission vetted twenty contestants on 20th / 12/2021 and ten were nominated.All vetted candidates were given enough time to campaign before Students using all social media platforms.
