Al-Mustafa Islamic College Uganda organized an opening session for Ugandan students who want to study the Persian language for their future studies and research and it was graced by the Iran Cultural Chancellor, Mohammad Reza Ghezelsofla, the former president of Al-Mustafa Islamic University in Ghana among others. On speaking, the Rector of Al-Mustafa Islamic College, Alhaji Rouhollah Dehghane welcomed participants and introduced the guest from the Islamic Republic of Iran who will be sharing his knowledge and expertise with Ugandans in the education field among others during his visit to the pearl of Africa.
Mohammad Reza Ghezelsofla, the  Cultural Chancellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kampala congratulated students upon deciding to learn the Persian language as it enriches their understanding and broadens their skills for employment and intercultural communication.

The Cultural Chancellor quoted Imam Ali (a.s) who said that If anyone learns a new language, he also becomes a new person.
“When Africans learn the Persian language which is a rich language with civilization, the language of peace and revolution”, he added.
Just like Nelson Mandela said that: “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”

Imam al-Ridha (a.s.) used to speak with people whose languages were different from their own languages. By God, he was the most fluent and knowledgeable of all people in any language.
He encouraged them to always learn more to improve the standards of living of their respective community members and participate in the development of the beloved country Uganda.
Dr. Maharifi, former president of the Al-Mustafa Islamic University in Ghana said that when you look at the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, most leaders have learned Islamic knowledge extensively and exhaustively.
He said that learning without spiritual purification is not enough and adequate according to the needs of society.
When you take a look at the challenges of the world today, they’re because of a lack of Faith and soul purity.
Rumi, Islamic myths said that giving a very sharp sword to a mad person (a person without integrity) is better than giving knowledge to an unpurified person.
In such a time, where Life looks like a theater, where very bad people take the best places. It is the same danger to give a mad person a sword and a dishonest person power as the Persian poet Rumi said.
He congratulated the Persian language students upon their decision to learn the Persian language.
