NWSC announces Water supply disruptions in Kansanga as Technical Team repairs damaged pipeline!

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has announced a temporary interruption in water supply to Kansanga and neighbouring areas following damage to key transmission mains during ongoing road maintenance works along Nsambya Estate Road.

In a public notice issued on Thursday, NWSC said the disruption was necessary to allow its technical teams to repair and reinstate the damaged water transmission infrastructure.

The interruption has affected customers along Nsambya Estate Road, Nsambya Estate, and surrounding areas.

NWSC said its engineers and technicians are already on site carrying out emergency repair works to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible.

The utility assured customers that the repairs have been prioritised, acknowledging the importance of reliable water services for households, Business and other essential activities.

NWSC estimates that the repairs will be completed and water supply restored within two hours, provided no unforeseen challenges arise during the restoration process.

The corporation apologised for the inconvenience caused and appealed to affected customers for patience and understanding as the emergency works continue.

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation is a water supply and sanitation company in Uganda. It is wholly owned by the government of Uganda. As of October 2023, the company supplied 730,000,000 cubic metres of potable water daily to the country.

Fill connection details: Proposed connection, Purpose of the connection, Number of meters needed on the property.
Upload supporting documents. The documents should be scanned and saved as one PDF document ( National ID, Passport photo, Photocopy of land title or Sales agreement, LC1 letter, Sketchmap of the way to the property )
Review details and complete
After successfull completion download your application form and take note of tracking number ie NWSC_7/27/2022/xxx66
